It takes time and commitment to change old brain tracks and create new tracks, but it can be done. In order for inspiration from the dreams of our hearts to take hold and grow into joyous mature dreams, we must learn how to use our minds and our free will to focus on those dreams.
Science now tells us that 50% of the way we are in the world is from our genetic inheritance. This includes such things as looks, body size and shape, health and as well attitudes and ways of being we have about the worlds in which we live.
The other 50% is shaped by our environments and experiences as we grow up.
Does this mean we are stuck with what has been programmed into our DNA and / or minds? Absolutely not. What it does mean is that we will in all likelihood continue our lives along the same tracks that they have already been running, UNLESS WE STOP AND BECOME MORE CONSCIOUS.
This means we stop and take a look at how we are thinking and the results we are creating in our lives from that thinking. This means we begin taking personal responsibility for the fact that we are incredibly amazing physical bodies and incredibly amazing minds.
Much of the operation of our minds and bodies runs on these automated brain tracks learned throughout our lives. And thank goodness it does. We don’t have to think about the complex issues of the beating of our hearts and the pumping of the blood through our veins.
However, there is a part of the brain called the frontal cortex where our free will is located and it is here that we are able to step back and take a good look at what is working and what isn’t working and what changes we would like to create.
When the spark of a dream is ignited in our consciousness a myriad of electrical and chemical reactions take place in the brain. When we continue to focus upon this one little seed of desire those reactions continue and spread like wildfire until eventually, with enough clear focus and desire, new brain tracks are formed.
As these new brain tracks are formed, the spark of the dream can begin to crystallize into reality. It will attract to it, by the universal Law of Attraction, more and more of that which it needs to grow into a fully matured dream.
The key then is focus. While this sounds simple, it is not easy. The reason is that the old habituated ways of thinking have been hardwired into the brain and they will continue to pull your thinking and attention back to this way of being.
Your job then is to create new ways of thinking and being that eventually become habituated and hardwired. As this happens, and as the focus on the old way of beings diminishes and falls away, the old hardwiring also disintegrates and unwires itself.
For this to happen the desire to create new braintracks must be unwavering and you must be completely committed to the process. The most powerful tool you have at your disposal is your mind; the mind that has the ability to choose the thoughts it thinks; the mind that has the ability to take the focus away from the thinking that is creating unwanted feelings and situations and to move it to that which gives you joy and happiness.
A dream from the heart is a spark of energy from the desire of the soul. Inherent in that spark is not only all that the dream needs to come true, but also an energy force that is incredibly powerful because it is based in the Life Force Essence that you are.
This is different from a great idea generated from your head, or from another person, although other people can certainly spark a dream that comes from the soul. There is something magical about a spark from the soul in that it has a Life Force of its own. There is an inherent power in that spark that is not there in an idea that is generated from the head.
Try this out for yourself. Think of something that you thought was a great idea, maybe your own or maybe another’s idea, that you got excited about but in the end it kind of collapsed and died. Where in your body did you experience the original excitement. Think about how it felt and what subsequently took place.
Then think about something you have accomplished that gave you great joy and fulfillment, no matter how much struggle it took to make it happen. Think about where in your body you experienced it. Think about what took place subsequently that caused you to persevere and finally make that dream come true. What was the difference?
Summary
A dream, a spark of Infinite Intelligence, comes from the soul. If you use your mind to create a laser like focus on this dream to the exclusion of all else, your brain will eventually hardwire itself to thinking in such ways that make it possible for the dream to come true.
No matter the circumstances that you find yourself in right now, with attention, willingness to commit yourself to learning new ways of being, and determination to use your mind to create the necessary hardwiring in your brain, you CAN live the life of your dreams and the dreams that are uniquely yours to live.
It is all about being in conscious alignment with the Life Force Essence you are.
