Sit for just a moment. Your time is precious I know, but this moment has the potential to introduce you to a world of infinite possibilities right now.
Relax your body and just breathe. Watch your breathe going in, coming out. Breathe deeper. Become aware of that breath, notice your surroundings, and go back to that breath again.
For this moment of breathing you are in the present moment in The Presence of Life itself. That is how simple it is to disengage from the ego.
Now watch, as thoughts start to pour back into your mind of what you think of this exercise, of what you have to do, of the drama you have been experiencing, what someone said and /or didn’t say, etc. ad infinitum.
Focusing on your breath for one moment gives you a first hand experience of who you are, even if only for this moment. From this space can come peace of mind, inspired thought for action, life communicating itself to you. It’s that simple. Except that we have to keep practicing it.
So who are you? Really? Are you that incessant stream of thoughts running through your head? Or are you something more? Something much, much more?
